Noosa is located on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast and is surrounded by stunning beaches and national parks. If you are looking for adventure, there’s plenty to do. You can try your hand at surfing with a surf lesson or stand up paddle boarding around Little Cove.
For those wanting a more relaxed experience, Noosa is home to superb day spas, stylish shopping and delicious cuisine. Which can be found along Hastings Street. The beautiful natural environment, laidback lifestyle, crystal-clear waves and stunning beaches make Noosa one of Australia’s most famous surf towns. It is home to the largest longboarding event in the world. If you are after a change of pace take a stroll along the Noosa River and enjoy the water ways with a paddling lesson or hire from our friends at Noosa Paddle Sports.

Festival of Surfing Noosa

Taking place each year in Noosa is the world famous Festival of Surfing. 2021 was truly a landmark year for the Noosa Festival of Surfing as it was celebrating 30 years.

Noosa can proudly say that it has been named the 10th World Surfing Reserve. This recognises the community’s surf and conservation culture and environmental protection.
Go Ride A Wave runs surf lessons everyday at 10am and 2pm with extra classes added a 8am over busy school holiday times. Surf and beach hire is also available on the beach next to the rock wall at access 14.

Surfers Paradise hosts a series of great events including prestigious Surf Life Saving competitions, the Supercars Vodafone Gold Coast 600 race and free artistic and cultural community events throughout the precinct, including the Surfers Paradise Beachfront Markets. The best way to have a true Gold Coast Experience is to have a Surf Lesson. We are lucky enough to have our surf schools located on the most iconic beaches the city has to offer. There is over 70km of golden beaches from South Stradbroke to Rainbow Bay.

We have a huge range of beginner to intermediate surfboards available, in a wide range of sizes from 6’0 to 9’6 which includes Malibu’s, mini Malibu’s, short boards and a full range of softboards.

We have hard surfboards made out of epoxy and soft surfboards (G Boards) made out of polyethylene.

Our friendly staff will be able to suggest the right equipment for you.
