Stand Up Paddle Boarding Team Building

Sup Lesson

Stand up paddle boarding team building lessons are a fantastic way to get your team on the water and fit for life. This ancient Hawaiian activity sport of kings is a safe and healthy way to explore the waterways or oceans while giving your core a workout. Stand up paddle team building lessons are also a fantastic way to build your staff’s ocean confidence and improve your balance and core strength.

Stand Up Paddle surfing (or SUP) is – depending on which way you look at it – either the newest or the oldest kid on the water sports block.

SUP is suitable for anyone that is willing to give it a try.

It is a fantastic way to get around on the water while giving you a great core workout.

With roots that predate surfing as we know it, SUP has technically been around since ancient Polynesian times although – granted – it did have a 300 year or so hiatus.  It was picked up again in the 60s by the Waikiki ‘beach-boys’ in Hawaii, who found the higher vantage point a better way to keep an eye on the pupils in their surf schools.

Stand Up Paddle surfboards are much longer, wider and more buoyant than ‘normal’ surfboards, enabling you to comfortably balance on them and propel yourself with the paddle.

With Stable boards and the proper instruction Go Ride a Wave can get your group out on the water having fun.
